Production Planner

Job Description

This leading food manufacturer is looking to strengthen their production operation by adding a Production Planner to an already established planning team. Reporting to a Planning Manager and working alongside Material Planners and Demand Planners, you will ensure all plans are delivered accurately and within the time frame to protect and ensure maximum customer service levels. Working closely with all relevant internal contacts including production management, technical and supply chain, you will understand the capacity of the factory and manage the expectations of the customer, whilst ensuring that customer service is paramount.

To be a success in this role you must have a proven track record in a planning role and an understanding of planning IT systems and spreadsheets. A distinct advantage would be experience of working with chilled foods but any FMCG area where planning demands are ever changing would be relevant.

You should be someone who proactively demonstrates a real customer service ethos with and has a strong desire to deliver on set KPI's. You will have an ability to work with change and above all should be hands on with a 'can-do' and hardworking attitude.
