Job Description

A leading innovative chilled food manufacturer requires an experienced Health and Safety Officer. This role is to lead and develop Health and Safety for the site ensuring continuous improvement programs are developed and implemented. Liaising with all relevant functions you will monitor and audit Health & Safety performance, advise management on all important corrective actions and implement necessary controls and risk assessments regarding Health & Safety.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a Health and Safety role within an FMCG Manufacturing environment and be qualified to NEBOSH Health and Safety Diploma. You will have had experience of implementing training programmes and delivering those said training programmes internally. IOSH membership is a distinct advantage but above all, you will be enthusiastic about health and safety and environmental processes with a genuine desire to make a difference.
