Job Description

Food Product Safety Manager, based London: This major retailer is looking to boost its Own Label Product Safety Team with the appointment of an experienced Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring that all safety considerations have been addressed and documented to provide corporate reassurance of the supply chain. Consequently, you are likely to be a graduate with a microbiology/related degree or a food professional with experience of supply chain auditing.

You will implement, manage and effectively control audits of high risk suppliers and microbiological projects to establish the microbial safety and quality of food products.
An excellent understanding of HACCP is required and, ideally, a track record of auditing in high risk food environments. Whilst UK and some overseas travel is required, the focus is very much on desk led documentation compliance.
