Commercial Manager - Food Retail

Job Description

Commercial Manager, Lincolnshire: Reporting to the Head of Commercial, this Commercial Manager role will be responsible for at least one, possibly two, of the major grocery retailers. This means that you will need to have a track record of successfully developing a food category for one of the 'Big Five'. As well as the day-to-day management of the accounts, you will have strategic responsibility for generating account plans and managing budgets as well as negotiation and promotional management.

Top of the selection criteria for this role is strong interpersonal and category management skills and the ability to project/time manage is crucial. Working for one of the UK's major chilled food manufacturers, you will play a key role in driving forward business through the combination of creative flair as well as commercial 'nous'. You will also need to demonstrate an understanding of all areas of business that impact upon sales, both internally and externally, in order to influence these to deliver forecast requirements.
