Engineering Manager

Job Description

Our client is currently looking for a strong Engineering Manager with strong site engineering management experience. A mix of PPM and reactive maintenance experience will be useful, but what is key in this role are strong man management skills.

Other key accountabilities will include: -

· Controlling maintenance expenditure to deliver targeted levels of plant performance in a
cost effective manner.
· Set standards, initiate and review procedures and measure performance to ensure
continuous improvement.
· Ensure awareness and provision of training in a range of preventative maintenance
techniques to deliver engineering performance targets.

The ideal candidate will come from a FMCG and ideally food background with a strong track record of reducing down time within manufacturing environments but also excellent people management skills.
