Senior Development (NPD) Technologist - Food Manufacturing

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Development Technologist to join an active Technical NPD Team to ensure long-term sustainable growth within their core business. Working for a major food manufacturer you will contribute to the creation of innovative new products to drive the market forward. As senior Development Technologist you will also be responsible for taking projects from concept through to launch so knowledge of manufacturing processes will also be important. The successful applicant will:

· Combine an appreciation of market trends with creativity and a flair for product
innovation
· Work closely with customers (major retailers) on specific projects with emphasis placed
on building client relations through presentations and ongoing contact.
· Be an enthusiastic team player who has a genuine passion and knowledge for food and
ingredients

It is important that you have worked closely with major retailers within a food manufacturing environment. You should also have some experience of NPD ideally within a chilled environment.
