Process Development Manager (Food manufacturing)

Job Description

Like looking at the bigger picture? We require a Process Development Manager to manage process development projects, which will enable the successful delivery of new product launches while developing continuous improvement programmes. You will manage all aspects of launching new products including HACCP, supplier and ingredient approval, factory trials and specifications.

The ideal candidate will posses experience in:

· Nutritional values, retail artwork and project management skills
· Interpreting microbiological data and shelf life protocols as well previous experience of
generating critical paths
· Time management and prioritisation skills will be key in order to manage the day to day
trials and process projects
· Evaluating factory trials on feasibility of products and collation of all relevant information
(quality, nutrition, micro and material) to allow an accurate customer specification to be
made
· People management skills to guide and empower Technologists reporting into this
position
· Excellent communication skills between all departments particularly NPD, Production and
Procurement
