Night Shift Manager (Food)

Job Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated and motivating Shift Manager to join a large blue chip food company in a production role. This business manufactures chilled products for all the major multiples and has an excellent reputation for personal development, training and career progression. This is an exciting and progressive role and you will ensure the delivery of agreed KPIs and support and develop a Factory culture in your area where individuals feel able to challenge the status quo and encourage feedback from all levels. The site is looking for a competent Production Manager who ideally has exposure to chilled food together with a focus on continuous improvement / lean manufacturing to reduce waste and increase throughout. GMP, H&S and quality levels will also be important to consider. You will be a senior manager onsite during the night shift leading a team of up to 250 people including hygiene and so we require someone who is able to cope with a large amount of responsibility. We require someone with excellent management and motivational skills to inspire the workforce and create a productive work environment in this large food manufacturer. Ideally you will come from a food background and have knowledge of Lean, GMP, HACCP and H&S with a FMCG area.
