Engineering Assistant Manager

Summary

Our client is currently looking for a strong Assistant Engineering Manager with strong engineering management experience. A mix of PPM and reactive maintenance experience will be useful but what is key in this role are strong man management skills.

Job Description

Other key accountabilities will include controlling maintenance expenditure to deliver targeted levels of plant performance in a cost effective manner.

Set standards, initiate and review procedures and measure performance to ensure continuous improvement.

Ensure awareness and provision of training in a range of preventative maintenance techniques to deliver engineering performance targets.

The ideal candidate will come from a FMCG and ideally food background with a strong track record of reducing down time within manufacturing environments but also excellent people management skills.
