Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Services Manager to join a leading provider of chilled food to go products for a high profile customer base.

The key purpose of this role is to manage all of the Technical Systems and ensure internal compliance with all requirements of such systems, including maintenance of the NPD critical path from initial brief to development, launch and closing out at six-week review. The post holder shall also ensure supplier specifications comply with all company requirements & ensure compliance with all existing and emerging legislation. Other requirements include:
·    Overseeing the completion of product specification
·    Ensure artwork briefs and sign off are carried out with the highest attention to detail
·    To ensure the NPD pathway is constantly kept up to date
·    Deal with customer complaints
·    Manage technical KPI's and oversee completion of monthly reports
This is a customer & supplier facing role and so excellent communication skills are required. It shall also lead a Technical Co-ordinator and a team of raw material assessors and so the ideal applicant will have well developed people management skills.
