Job Description

Reporting the Innovations Director you will essentially become the packaging expert ensuring that the business remains at the forefront of packaging development for products within its current portfolio.

Key responsibilities will therefore encompass developing, driving and implementing a packaging development agenda covering format development, the environment and cost reduction. You will therefore be instrumental in the continuous development of both existing packaging concepts and specifications and the effective introduction of new packaging formats and specifications at all their sites.

As the packaging 'guru' you will need to also provide technical support to technical/operations and purchasing making sure that all new packaging structures/specifications utilised are technically acceptable for current processes are readily available; cost effective; and sourced from an approved supplier base.
