Summary

Our client is a rapidly expanding major chilled foods manufacturer.

They have a current requirement for a highly numerical and IT literate graduate calibre candidate, that has the flexibility to take of various tasks throughout their Supply Chain function.

Job Description

This is therefore a development role and will require flexibility interms of both taking on new tasks and being open to a range of shift patterns.

Essentially will entail the following responsibilities;

• Prepare and amend plans on a daily basis, to incorporate changed orders, production, engineering or quality issues
• Compilation of Plans for seasonal and promotional activity by using information supplied by the customer and its analysis
• Communicate all relevant information between customers and site
• Schedule an efficient running order of lines, taking into account any constraints
• Nominated point of contact for material and production issues affecting planned production and action accordingly.
• Investigate differences in stock reconciliation and inform relevant managers
• Interrogate orders to ensure customers are ordering appropriately and feedback to customersDistribute haulage requirements to the relevant departments
• Communicate any specific stock issues to the despatch team
• Liaise with 3rd parties with regards to stockholding and orders
