Summary

Our Client has a blue chip reputation with multiple sites, within a fast paced food manufacturing environment.

Reporting into the Head of Operations, you will interpret the Demand Forecast into a lean, cost effective Supply Plan meeting Customers service requirements On Time In Full, whilst managing Working Capital levels appropriately.

Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

• To take the agreed Demand Forecast  and produce a Supply Forecast/Plan based on lean principles to maximise plant OEE and Productivity.
• To service Customers with a Casefill of >99.5% and OTIF levels of >90%.
• To manage Working Capital and Stock Turns to agreed budget/forecast targets, with a bias towards reducing supply chain inventory.
• To generate a competitive edge by developing supply chains with shorter order lead times in response to Customer requirements e.g Day 1 for Day 2.
• To manage the shelf life of manufactured and bought in products to maximise availability and minimise stock write offs.
• To manage the supply chains of bought in goods with efficient, cost effective processes whilst maintaining strong and lasting sourcing relationships.
• To support the Head of Operations and Site Managers in the leadership of the appropriate Business Team.
• To support and play a leading role in the S&OP process.
