Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • The developing and managing the operational delivery of the marketing plan for the Brand through brand communication, new product development and promotion initiatives, in order to deliver the overall business objectives for profit and growth.
  • Identify actionable business, brand and consumer insights using business, market and consumer data and research.
  • Lead the operational delivery of all brand plan activities.
  • Work with the Head of Marketing to ensure that the brand values and positioning are delivered effectively, that there is a clear vision for the category and that the sales team are clear about the brand objectives.
  • Lead cross functional teams to project manage all new and existing product development and packaging development activity through to successful launch.
  • Work alongside the sales and category team to devise and execute effective ranging, pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Work with the wider marketing team and agencies to help develop and execute marketing activity.
  • Day to day management of the marketing budget, including monitoring expenditure and managing purchase orders as well as reviewing and recommending activities. Management of the marketing element of the Product Information Management system. · Managing below the line activities for the brand.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the broader commercial team through high levels of enthusiasm, energy and commitment to the business Recruitment requirements include
  • Experience of brand management, including the development and execution of a calendar of activity involving all elements of the marketing mix.
  • Development of business, brand and consumer insight from observation, data and research.
  • Track record of managing and delivering NPD through multi functional teams.
  • Track record of delivering brand objectives through joint marketing and sales teamwork.
  • Experience of effectively managing marketing budgets to achieve specific revenue and profit targets.
  • Experience of managing and negotiating with external agencies and supplier to maximise their effectiveness and delivery.
