Chilled and Frozen Food manufacturer based in Lincolnshire are currently looking to appoint a computer literate and detail conscious Specifications Technologist / Specification Writer to be part of the Technical team. You will be tasked with writing specifications for Food Service customers as well as investigating customer complaints and quality issues. YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING: - Specification writing experience - Working experience of working with retail and/or food service specification systems.. - Appropriate food technology qualification. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Knowledge of short shelf life products - Ability to manage multiple projects on a deadline basis - To be able to work alone and as part of a team - An eye for detail IDEALLY YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING: - HACCP Qualification - Technical/NPD experience with a BRC accredited food processor - All round food processing and practical knowledge and theory - Experience of the Hamilton Grant system - Report writing skills If you have experience writing specifications or are a graduate with a years technical or quality food industry experience this is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and growing award winning business.
