Finance Director

Summary

Our client is an established and successful manufacturer of added value food products for the UK retail market.

It now seeks the talents of a highly operational Finance Director to take ownership and responsibility for all finance related activity within the business developing and delivering the businesses vision and strategy.

Job Description

You will ensure the accurate and timely production of monthly and annual accounts, develop and implement robust financial plans, and lead from the front in all financial based activity.

You will be a strong inspirational manager who has led a finance function in the past, ideally from within a fast paced food manufacturing environment, and preferably from a retail supply base. As well as holding a relevant qualification such as ACCA and/or CIMA, you will be a strong communicator with a well developed commercial acumen. You will need to add value to the operational side of the business, working in close partnership with manufacturing and commercial colleagues in particular.
