Technical Administrator

Job Description

My client is an innovative food manufacturer who produce a comprehensive range of bakery ingredients to the UK food market. Working within their technical / quality department they now require a technical administrator to manage product specifications, ensuring that all finished products are manufactured to the appropriate legal and technical specifications.

Reporting to a Quality Systems Manager, you will liase internally with product development (NPD) teams to design and create effective product specifications. Experience of creating, maintaining and circulating specifications for own label food products is vital and you will also be responsible for maintaining and updating current legislation.

You will have sound communication skills coupled with an eye for the detail and ideally you will have exposure to a range of food specifications systems such as Asda Webtraqs, Hamilton Grant, Tesco Technical Library, M&S FIND or Sainsbury Inspire.
