Technical Auditor (Home Based)

Summary

Our Client is a UK based group of highly experienced Food Safety Consultants and Auditors working for and on behalf of one of the UK's most prestigious food retailers.

Job Description

For over twenty years they have delivered a broad range of quality assurance solutions, including factory auditing, food inspection, certification and consultancy to ensure a consistent high standard of food production. Their current team offers a great diversity in background and as a result of recent successes; they are now actively looking to add two additional people to the team.

Based from home with extensive travel throughout the UK and the Globe, you will undertake factory audits of existing suppliers to ensure they are compliant with your clients requirements related to quality, safety, traceability and due diligence. You will visit new and future suppliers to provide advice on systems and procedures to ensure they meet retail requirements.

With experience of working across a wide range of food categories and with a sound level of Technical Management experience from within the food industry, you will be self-motivated with a desire to work in an auditing focussed role. You will be educated to degree level in a food related discipline and you will ideally have the Lead Assessor qualification.
