Job Description

Flavourings Technologist, Home Based but with significant travel in France: This major European company specialises in supplying spices and flavourings to producers of meat, charcuterie products, ready meals, fish and dairy products. To support the business' growth plans and to strengthen its technical support to its French customers, it has created the new post of Technologist.

After your induction period at its German facility, you will work closely with the Director of the French Market and the sales team. Primarily involved in product applications, you will spend more than half your time with clients (manufacturers and caterers) on the development, application and optimisation of products and formulations. This will include the occasional stay at its Laboratory in Germany to ensure product briefs meet the needs of the French market/taste. You will be able to work in tandem with a Charcuterie specialist too.

To be considered for this role, you will need to speak fluent English and have some experience as a Technologist or Chef. Whilst the role is based from home, a high degree of travel is required to spend time with your clients.
