The NPD team at this chilled food manufacturing company is looking to boost its numbers to help meet an increase in demand for its products - great news given the recent economic climate!

Job Description

Different levels of experience  would be considered so this is a great opportunity for a graudate with at least a year's meaningful industrial experience.  You will need to be highly motivated  with the presence of mind to efficiently juggle a variety of projects, prioritising on a daily and sometimes hourly! - basis. The team wants Technologists who are creative, not just in a foodie sense, although this is very important, but also in initiating solutions to workday problems that may arise.

Ongoing Training and Development is provided to all staff to ensure employees optimise their full potential in the business and you will also be given the chance to work on one of the Group's major retailer customers. This will require you to have good communications and self-presentation skills.

Whilst this is a busy department it offers a great environment to consolidate and develop yourself, whilst bringing to market some really tasty and innovative products! Food science/HE/culinary qualification or equivalent experience is sought along with driving licence and travel flexibility.  

Samples Technologist: If you have a good general appreication of food/culinary skills and are looking for a career in food manufacturing, this is a great opportunity.  You will work on developing samples for both the factory and its retail customers so you will need to be able to manage your time well and be very organised.  Good interpersonal skills are required in order to liaise effectively with both colleagues and customers.
