General Manager

Summary

Our client is a multi-sited supplier of artisan hand-crafted bakery products to some of the biggest names in retail.

Operating from state-of-the art facilities, and with a new factory project underway, our client is now looking to further strengthen the Senior team by the appointment of a General Manager.

Job Description

Reporting to the Managing Director and with site responsibility your primary role will include preparation and management of financial accounts, commercial negotiations with suppliers and customers and a broader involvement in the running of all aspects of the business.

Ideally a degree educated Finance professional and with experience in a similar environment, you will be used to thriving in a fast moving, customer driven environment. You will be a strong, hands-on manager, demonstrating the ability to operate under pressure and lead from the front.

You will have excellent organisational skills, strong commercial acumen and a flexible approach to work.
