Our client is a leading UK and Irish supplier of value added meat products to some of the biggest names in retail, food service and manufacturing.

Job Description

Operating from state-of-the art facilities, and with a new build factory project underway, our client is now looking to further strengthen the senior team by the appointment of a Production Manager Reporting to the Operations Manager your responsibilities will include management of a small factory team across two shifts ensuring that product is manufactured in a timely and efficient manner in line with factory production plans.

Your role will entail establishing and driving critical manufacturing KPI's including labour usage, wastage, yield and materials control ensuring that all are delivered within budget. Ideally degree educated and with experience in red meat or poultry in a similar role, you will be used to thriving in a fast moving, customer driven environment.

You will be a strong, hands-on manager, demonstrating the ability to operate under pressure and lead from the front. You will have excellent organisational skills, strong commercial acumen and a flexible approach to work.
