The role is an excellent opportunity for an established QA Manager to work for a large site gaining experience with multiple retail customers.

The site is part of a large chilled food business that is focused on supplying own label products to the Retailers.   The site has a real diversity of products and Retail customer and is looking for an outstanding QA Manager to join its current team. The site has started a change programme and is focused on improvements across the various functions.

The role would report directly to the Technical Manager and would be responsible for managing a team of QA Supervisors and QA Auditors.  You would ensure that the team are motivated, organised and mentored to develop the current team.  Liaising with all functions; particularly Production to work together to ensure customer specifications are constantly excelled.  To be part of the change management within the Technical function and review current practices ensuring that the site has the most up to date and relevant procedures.

• You will need a Food Science Degree or equivalent
• You will have gained QA experience within a Chilled Food Manufacturer
• You will have management experience
• You will work collaboratively with your team and varying functions.
• You will need excellent communication and decision-making skills
• You will need to demonstrate a positive attitude and continual striving to improve the status quo
