This role is focused on developing new product for the retailers, therefore there is a real emphasis on innovation, new trends and delivering on project briefs.

The site is focused on quality major food multiples and is at the premium end of the market. The focus is on developing products using quality ingredients with a real competitive edge. The site also manufactures branded products so would allow a development technologist the opportunity to gain an appreciation of this market too. The key for the role is to develop products that are market focused and that would delight the target consumer. You will work closely with Retailers and Internal teams such as Commercial, Technical, Manufacturing and Process.

To apply you will need:

• Food science/ technology HND or Degree
• To be able to demonstrate knowledge of food trends and consumer insight
• Understand and have practical knowledge of critical plans when developing products
• Able to present to Retailers with regard to new products
