An exciting opportunity has risen for a Product Development Technologist to join a Chilled Food Innovation Team based in the West Midlands. 

Job Description

This Multi-site chilled foods manufacturer require an experienced technologist to join the team tasked with developing innovative protein products for supply to the major retailers and the food service sector. Reporting to the Development Manager you will be managing NPD projects through from development to implementation and post launch review. Working with Marketing teams you will keep abreast of customer and consumer trends, attend customer focus groups and organise and participate in idea generation sessions.

The successful candidate will be qualified to Degree or HAND level preferably in a food related or applied science subject. You will be a confident communicator, possess proven project management skills and have extensive food industry knowledge. Although not compulsory an understanding of meat technology would be beneficial.
