A great opportunity for a Development Chef who will be encouraged to further develop a product category that is considered traditional and sales peak at distinct times of year.

The aim will be to work closely with internal cross functional teams and directly with clients to showcase product potential, with the ultimate aim of increasing sales all year round.

Job Description

This is a real chance for you to demonstrate your product knowledge and flair for innovation, thinking about things differently and taking this value added product range to a new era.

You will need to interpret retail and foodservice customer briefs, both will have very different expectations, therefore you will need to be flexible in your approach and resourceful in your thinking and delivery.

Working across these two differing sectors will challenge and stretch but will provide great exposure and a genuine benefit for a longer term career in food product development.

You will be expected to drive projects delivering results that are in line with business strategy and customer expectation, therefore essential to be a methodical project manager who has great interpersonal skills able to draw others in, yet receptive to others opinions and seek advise from those who are key in other areas of the business.

As the NPD Chef you will be expected to educate and support other members of particularly the Development Team, keeping everyone up to date with food trends and new cooking methods and technologies.

Your presentation skills will need to be well honed, you will also need to have a reasonable degree of numerousy and IT efficient.
