Job Description

This opportunity is ideal for someone who already has experience working with chilled food products in either a manufacturing or retail environment.  Located in the North West, our client is a large food retailer looking to drive forward their chilled foods business with Product Development professionals who have a proven track record of developing high quality, commercial food products.

As a Product Developer you will be responsible for developing fantastic new products, supported by the supply base, in line with the company's robust quality guidelines.  Your enthusiasm and knowledge of food will be a huge factor in your success within the business, and an excellent appreciation of food trends and customer awareness is critical.

An important aspect of the product development role is to plan, manage and monitor all NPD projects, so working collaboratively with colleagues across the business and within the supply base is extremely important.  You will also be involved in the design of packaging and ensuring all projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
