Job Description

Based in West Yorkshire, this multifaceted Technical role operates along side the Buying, NPD and Supply Chain teams providing technical support in this fast moving environment.

The role is also highly influential in the overall business planning process, so reports into the Managing Director and sits on the management board.

You will need to have particular experience in manufacturing based financial management, having worked in a production environment, liaising closely with senior manufacturing colleagues on cost reduction, product price modelling, and productivity / continuous improvement activities.

Commercial and promotional planning is also key, so past experience in front line customer supply relationships would be beneficial.

This is a fast paced environment that requires a quick and accurate mind - yes, you need to be a numbers person, but the client is also looking for strong commercial acumen, a real team leader and a willingness to contribute cross-functionally at all levels to improve business performance and bottom line profit.
