Key accountabilities are all those you would expect for an MD level role.  You will be setting the strategy for your business - and you will be accountable for its delivery.  Simple as that!  The fine detail includes leading the team - whether that be a large operational workforce or the senior Commercial, HR, Technical, NPD, Logistics and Purchasing personnel - all functions report indirectly through to you as the business leader.  This will be managed via a senior Exec Team, where the round the table discussions can be robust as this is a business that recruits people with ideas and opinions!  The autonomy offered means that you are accountable for sales, profit and cost, so full P&L responsibility.  The nature of the relationship with the customer is also of paramount importance so there would be significant front line involvement at senior levels with key players in primarily the leading food retail multiples.
