Challenging and exciting opportunity for a Quality Assessor - Goods In!

This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who is looking to establish themselves within a company that is part of a market leading food-manufacturing group.  Our client is known to value employees and has a track record of developing and training individuals in order for them to progress within the business.

In this role you will be responsible for unloading, booking in and assessing all raw material that is delivered to site. This role at times will also include you stepping in to manage the team in the absence of the Team Leader. You will take on responsibilities of the Team Leader role, ensuring the department is operating to standard at all times and appropriate actions are taken. So strong leadership skills are required.

Strong communication skills are also a must for this role, as you will be dealing with internal and external departments, customers and suppliers to eradicate any issues within the Goods in department.

A key part to this role is completing all connected documentation for the goods in department for the storage and transfer of raw material to the production area.

The client is seeking a candidate with a background in short shelf life stock management with a sound understanding of quality standards.
