An experienced generalist HR Manager with track record as Business Partner in FMCG manufacturing environment is sought by major consumer Group. This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic and highly successful manufacturer of fast moving consumer goods. Our client is looking for a strong HR generalist with experience of a manufacturing environment to join the Senior Management Team of this well established and progressive business. With a clear and focussed view of HR, you will play a key role in driving performance of this independent business unit that is part of a major international Group, by ensuring that HR influences all key business decisions, particularly where change is involved for the company and its people.

You will need to be able to demonstrate a track record of enabling the Executive Team to understand and own the people issues within their business. You will know what 'best' looks like in terms of key appointments for the business and be able to coach and mentor across the Senior Management Team to develop the required quality and calibre of individuals to meet the operational and strategic needs across the five year plan.

You will be required to show that you have delivered on previous Business HR Plans - short and long term - that meet both Business Strategy and Group HR Strategy. This includes Organisational Design & Development to reassure the business that it is structured correctly to meet current and future operating objectives. The emphasis is on cost, quality and time - all through polished people management.

You will be supported by a team of HR Officers and Administrators with experience and commitment, and their continued skills development will be on your agenda too. CIPD qualified and experience of successfully managing an Unionised environment are preferred selection criteria.

This role requires an HR professional with passion and energy who loves the challenge of pace and change in a truly progressive and demanding business environment…and who leads from the front.
