The role
Reporting to the Group Technical Director and with a 'dotted-line' to the Director of Foodservice your role will entail managing the day-to-day Technical Food Services function of this highly quality driven business. You will be the primary interface with all UK based Foodservice customers and will manage all technical issues or queries along with assisting the Commercial teams in maintaining and growing strong customer relationships. Your role will also include the opportunity to travel to a number of UK / European manufacturing locations to audit, attend NPD trials and manage client visits.

The Candidate
Ideally with a degree in a food related subject you will have a full understanding of UK food legislation along with BRC, HACCP, NPD processes and appropriate external bodies. You will have extensive experience in meat processing, with a sound knowledge of microbiology affecting meat products and will be well versed in championing chilled food best practice.
