Interim Hygiene Manager opportunity 3 months.

We are working with a client that has a need for an interim Hygiene Manager. This role is with a fast paced chilled food manufacturer.

Job Description

Your role will involve maintaining and improving where necessary the hygiene standards throughout the factory. You will have a good working knowledge of BRC audits and risk assessments. Previous experience in the effectiveness and efficiency of hygiene practices and systems is needed. You will be responsible for all hygiene schedules and CIP. The successful applicant will proactively seek to improve hygiene throughout the whole site, writing, updating and reviewing cleaning procedures and documents.

Communicating with internal customers is vital in this role to ensure confidence in the hygiene operation. You will have contact with external suppliers such as chemical suppliers.

It is important that high hygiene standards are embedded throughout the factory.  It is also critical that a safe working environment exists and that the factory meets the standards in the SHE policy.

Applicants should be open minded, self motivated and adaptable to drive changes forward.  It is vital that the successful candidate is good at building relationships with those around them. They will have a logical and structured approach and be able to problem solve and deliver sustainable results.
