Hygiene Services Team Manager

Job Description

Day Based Role 10.30am - 6.30pm

To manage, develop and lead the hygiene team to effectively deliver an operationally excellent hygienic factory in line with Health and Safety and Business requirements. You will be accountable for all hygiene activities across this food production site, embracing pest control, waste management, laundry and washroom functions. You will have responsibility for providing detailed forecasts on a monthly basis for these areas and for purchasing chemicals, consumables, PPE and equipment. By conforming to all H&S procedures and carrying out risk and COSHH assessments, you will provide a safe working environment for all employees. With production being 24/7, you will be responsible for providing effective hygiene schedules and staff rosters and for actively developing your team through a coaching approach. You will lead and develop continuous improvement activity within the hygiene teams delivery of quality, value, safety, hygiene, environment and customer service. You will be responsible for carrying out hygiene audits across the site. Your role will also liase with chemical contractor to ensure that all chemicals and equipment supplied are fit for purpose.
