Health & Safety Officer

Job Description

Working for a chilled food manufacturer you will provide an advisory service on all H&S matters. Your role will review company procedures, managing audits, identifying training requirements and risk assessments. You will keep up to date of all relevant Health and Safety Legislation and ensure the management is made aware of their responsibilities in maintaining the company's compliance. Supporting the Management team to enable continuous improvement in H&S standards throughout the site will be key. Your involvement in the development of a culture, which is conducive to all teams and individuals ensuring that Health and Safety policies are followed, is key. To be successful you must be able to demonstrate a track record of achievement in a Health and Safety role, and be ambitious and self-motivated. It is necessary to have a degree of flexibility and be able to manage a number of concurrent priorities. Ref CN6282
