This major food manufacturer is looking for a confident, Senior Development Technologist or Development chef who is both passionate about Food and has excellent business awareness. This role is the next step in the career ladder and will allow you to manage a dedicated team. You will need to be a passionate food enthusiast with strong food values and culinary skills. You will have had customer facing experience with major retailers. You will have knowledge of relevant markets and a good sense of commercial viability. Practical experience of a product costing system and it's application in reaching commercial decisions is required in this role. You will be an organised, focused, self-starter who can work well with your team supporting and interacting with them under pressure to hit deadlines. Previous experience in a chilled environment would be an advantage. It is an exciting time for this business due to their growth plans and dynamic NPD programme.
