Job Description

A Development Chef is required for an established ready meal manufacture based in London. Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be an added advantage but not a pre requisite. The company has established over a number of years an enviable reputation for delivering authenticity and quality and already has a number of highly skilled chefs on board. The company is exploring new product areas and has a vacancy for skilled and talented Chef with experience in particular of Italian / Mediterranean and modern new world cuisines. This experience would have ideally be gained from spending time abroad or by working in high quality established restaurants that are known for delivering exciting flavour combinations. As a Development Chef you would be accountable for managing specific projects, trialling recipes, delivering internal and customer presentations and taking ownership of the product through to the factory. Personally you will need to be professionally presented, methodical and organised able to priorities workloads and work to tight deadlines and price parameters. A car driver owner and computer literate.
