Development Chef

Job Description

A fantastic opportunity for a talented and skilled Chef with or without manufacturing experience to join this pro-active NPD Team that has an unquenchable thirst for driving innovation and as a result has had many successes with challenging first to market products. This role will primarily be based in Kent however there will be regular travel to Scotland.

We are looking for a Chef who

• Has reached at least Junior Sous Chef level in kitchens recognised for their consistency and quality
• Has a genuine love for cooking and can demonstrate a high level of skill and culinary techniques and integrity
• A broad ranging knowledge of core ingredients and food trends
• An understanding of global flavours
• Is a supportive team player who can share and inspire
• Has a determination to succeed
• The ability to work within set timescales and cost parameters
• A basic understanding of costings
• Computer literate
• Car driver
