Engineering Manager

Job Description

This progressive chilled food manufacturer requires an experienced Engineer to lead the team and maintain high plant efficiencies in accordance with the production requirements and also control and maintain the high standard of building and general repairs. The site needs a strong manager to organize the daily maintenance schedules along with any foreseen plant breakdown requirements. Organize and control all new installations to targets set, including materials, equipment and staffing levels. Manage and control maintenance budgets to achieve all key financial targets. Maintain and improve a Maintenance management system, along with COSSH, HACCP and risk assessments. Implement continuous improvement into the department. Ideal candidates will have gained their experience in middle to senior engineering role within a World Class FMCG environment. Experience of chilled food manufacturing would be an advantage. Applicants must be also be enthusiastic, energetic and have presence, able to motivate and build strong relationships at all levels. Ref JSH6292
