Shift Engineering Manager

Job Description

This leading food manufacturer are looking for a Shift Engineering Manager to manage the Engineering function, providing a service to the manufacturing and support areas as well as managing specific engineering and continuous improvement projects. Liaising with other department Managers to maximise plant and equipment availability and utilisation in order that the weekly production plans, trials and PPM activities are co-ordinated efficiently to ensure planned volumes are met. It is essential that you are able to give direction, leadership, motivation and inspiration to all engineering staff, managing their workloads and performance. Working opposite shift to the other manager on alternate weeks of days/nights and supervising a team of 6 engineers on each shift. Ref LK6272
