Supply Base Auditor (Fish Science)

Our client is constantly being challenged by its customers to strive for better quality and consistency while driving down costs. The delivery of customer satisfaction is key to driving business growth and product and process development. The successful candidate will contribute to the establishment, development and control the supplier audit schedule, based on a sound risk assessment. You audit raw material suppliers (including all food and non-food) to ensure they meet the minimum requirements as outlined in the Company supplier audit protocol. Your remit will include the need to review supplier specifications and the conformance against the specifications and assist the Supply Base Technical Manager in managing the intake QA team to ensure all product delivered to the manufacturing team is fit for purpose. This role encompasses overseas travel and you will ideally have degree in fish science or equivalent seafood science with Lead auditor training.
