Food Technologist

Job Description

A Food Technologist is sought for this Edinburgh-based food manufacturer. An HNC in food science/science is sought along with some practical experience in a technical role in a food operation. This role reports into the QA Manager and gives you responsibility for reviewing packaging artwork for legal and specification conformance; maintaining product quality through taste panels and positive release checks; and acting as internal auditor for customer standards. Part of the role includes generating customer specifications so, ideally, experience of at least one of the major retailer's web-based systems is sought.
