A major force in food manufacturing based in Lincolnshire, who sets the standard in its sector, is recruiting for a Training Manager to drive standards across the site.

Job Description

This multi-sector, multi-product business supplies all the major multiples with high quality products. They have a high level of innovation and this particular sites product can be seen on most of the major retailers shelves. It has exciting new projects planned for the site and this would be a great time to join a large, growing business.

You will ensure that training and development at all levels is effective and meets business needs in terms of short-term requirements and strategic direction.  You will be responsible for managing and developing a responsive, business focused training team and establish, update and deliver an agreed training strategy and plan which reflects the business objectives and strategy and helps deliver the desired culture within the organisation.  You will provide training solutions to business issues and ensure that the business complies with all statutory and company obligations to train in prescribed areas.  You will ensure all roles have identified training requirements, that training plans and systems are in place for all individuals to ensure they meet the requirements within agreed timescales and that all training is recorded.

You will have previous experience in Training and Development, or HR at a managerial / professional level, ideally within manufacturing and the food industry.  You will have the ability to design, deliver and evaluate training, training plans and systems to meet the business needs.  You will have excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to manage a team.
