Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven Engineering Manager to join a fast paced manufacturing environment that is enjoying real growth. 

This opportunity is commutable of Cambridge, Peterborough, Leicester, Northampton and Bedford.

As the site Engineering Manager you will focus on improving the current process flow to make the site more efficient and effective. You will manage the engineers on site ensuring that all work is carried out in line with internal and external food safety and health and safety standards. You will be required to work with the production teams ensuring TPM and asset management is in place in order to drive improvements with existing equipment as well as investigating what other options are available on the Market.

The successful candidate will be of graduate calibre and will posses:
Strong leadership skills and achievements in lifting moral and raising the profile of the engineering
Ability to deliver a structured management framework
Exposure to a food manufacturing environment where efficiency and reliability are key
Good aptitude for engineering. Ideally with both mechanical and electrical skills
Experience of managing engineering budgets.
