Our client is a large fast paced chilled food manufacturer supplying Major Retailers, Food Service and B2B with short shelf life food products.   The business has an exciting product range that match lifestyle foods.

The business has recently restructured and is looking for a Specifications Technologist who wants to progress their career with a growth product category.  My Client has a successful track record of career progression.

To role of Specifications Technologist is to provide a competent and efficient support to the Technical / Process & NPD Team through effective delivery of specification requirements. The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience of customer based specification packages.
• Complete retailers specifications systems with current working knowledge of J Sainsbury's Inspire and HARA, Asda Aspects, Morrisons Enterprise, Waitrose WRSPEC & Co-op Quest specification systems.
• Good organisational, communication and co-ordinating skills at all levels, with the ability to meet deadlines, often under pressurised conditions.
• Good Computer skills including Word, Excel, Access, Internet and Power point.
• Ability to accurately record information to rely to others for future use.

The ideal candidate will have:

• HND/degree in science, preferably food process related or equivalent.
• Experience within the chilled food industry.
• Experience of working with retailer specifications packages.

This is a great opportunity for a Specifications Technologist who wants to work within a complex chilled product range, working closely with Major Retailers.  My Client is looking to move quickly on applications.
