Job Description

Haydens BakeryBased in Devizes, Haydens Bakeries is part of The Real Good Food Group and is a leading supplier to Waitrose and other premier retailers.  Its portfolio of cake and patisserie products is market leading, and its product innovation resource is one of the best in the sector.  The company is enjoying rapid growth that far exceeds the market rate, and its business development plans are exciting, challenging but achievable.

As part of that growth, they require another National Account Manager to work on the Waitrose business in particular.  The person needs to be a strong commercial professional, but also have an empathy for product development and a real customer service focus. This is the leading account in the business and as result needs a commercial manager who can manage the current activity in a highly professional and supportive manner with the customer, but also have the ability to take it to the next level through innovative ideas and a strong personal commitment to account success.  Reporting into the Commercial Director, there will be ample opportunity to contribute to the growth of this premier retail account.

Ideally we would like someone who already has experience of managing an innovative and NPD focused private label account.  This is a fast paced environment with short shelf life product, so you need to be a strong and well organised project manager who can deal with the daily changing agenda.  Front line customer contact will be regular and we need to see good examples of where you have built and further developed successful relationships with retail teams.
