Our client is based in Hampshire, a lovely part of the UK with a rich cultural heritage and a varied coastline. This manufacturing site is part of a large international food manufacturing group that supplies all the major retailers within the UK. The main purpose of this role will be to manage a small team of operatives and the machinery within a designated area. You will ensure that high standards of quality, food safety and hygiene are achieved at all times. In terms of performance there will be set KPIs that will need to be hit and exceeded when possible.

In this role your remit will be to train team members to the required level to ensure they are operating at the highest level possible. You will also keep a keen eye on cost control and will manage the labour, packaging and raw material cost targets within your designated area.

The hours for this role are:Monday 6am - 6pm (2 out of 3 weeks)Tuesday - Friday 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm Rotating Weekend work (1 out of 3 weeks)

For this opportunity the client is looking for the candidate to have experience in working within a Food / FMCG environment, have a sound understanding of machinery and have strong leadership skills.
