Job Description

This chilled food manufacturer develops a fresh and short shelf life product offering to major retailers & foodservice. Part of a larger group, it has earned itself a reputation for delivering quality products and has medium term plans for expansion.

The main purpose of this role will be to manage and optimise the development of products at in accordance with a defined strategy. Working closely with and reporting into the Commercial Director, this position will develop products with strong consumer and category rationale. It will working closely with the Process and Technical team and will have two NPD Technicians reporting into it.

We require someone with proven NPD experience within a chilled background & ideally who have worked with Asda as a customer before. You will have strong development skills as well as commercial acumen as two of the key KPI's that are measured are development of NPD projects as well as NPD sales growth.
