Job Description

Our client is a premium branded business manufacturing a range of luxury added value chilled food products that are available in most of the major retailers throughout the UK and internationally.With a business that has demonstrated year-on-year growth and a prestigious award-winning product range that is estimated to be eaten somewhere in the world every 2 seconds, the business now seeks to appoint a Planning Manager to further strengthen the Senior team.

Reporting to the Operations Director and working alongside the wider Senior Management team, you will manage the production planning process for a business with a turnover in excess of £30m. Wider responsibilities will include modelling forward capacity, co-ordinating demand and capacity plans for both UK and abroad, and managing the materials planning and forecasting process. The role will also include the co-ordination supply from third party co-packed products.

Ideally degree educated you will currently be managing a planning team in a similar high speed chilled FMCG environment, or be a senior planning specialist looking to take the next step in your career.   The client would also be very interested in someone with Purchasing experience too.
