This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Process Development Manager to take the next step to managing product launches and factory trials for this leading chilled food producer. Working with the Senior Process Development Manager & other members of the Technical Department + NPD in ensuring the safety, legality and quality of all new and existing products produced by the company you will act as the key liaison with Customer Technologists and all other parties involved in the development of new products.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that all activities within the Department are carried out within agreed timescales and to agreed standards and to be responsible for recruiting and training of new Process Development Technologist team members.

The ideal candidate shall have previous experience in a process development role with working knowledge of HACCP, ideally with a chilled food background. Due to the high number of factory trials you must have a methodical approach and be highly organised. This position will also involve leading a team so well developed management skills are vital. Finally, a large amount of drive, energy and enthusiasm are needed to launch quality products and work closely with a wide range of retailers.
